JRI's Children's Friend and Family Services division is committed to assisting families and their children who are dealing with substantial behavioral, emotional, and mental health challenges. Our mission is to ensure they can access the vital services necessary for them to flourish at home, in school, and within their communities.
Schedule : This is a part-time position.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $32.50 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
JRI Provides The Training So That :
- You will work with an intensive community-based team striving to eliminate emergency room boarding for youth and keep them at home with their families.
- You will draw upon your caregiving experiences to positively impact the lives of youth exhibiting challenging behaviors, as well as their families.
- You will collaborate with clinicians, BCBA professionals, and Therapeutic Support Specialists to facilitate strength-based peer-to-peer education, coaching, role modeling, guidance, and support services.
- You will travel to families' homes and other community locations to best serve the clients in your care.
- You will assist families in navigating various care systems, empowering parents and caregivers to develop effective advocacy skills.

An Associate's degree in a human services field with one year of experience working with the target population, or a High School diploma / GED with two years of experience working with the target population.Must have experience as a parent or caregiver of a young person facing emotional, behavioral, or learning challenges, along with familiarity in navigating systems to access support for their child's needs.Maintain a valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle.Background and driving record checks will be performed.At JRI, we are committed to fostering a workplace where every team member feels valued and respected.
