As a Security Professional - Armed Government Site - Afternoon Shift in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a prominent government location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine armed patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to all individuals on site. Position Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $20.96 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Time Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Monitor the premises for potential security-related concerns and report any unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel. Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and / or members of the public, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and promote a secure environment at the location. Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client-specific guidelines while performing armed patrol duties. What We're Looking For : Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
