About The Position

Summary : Under the direction of the Director of Radiology, Medical Director and Cardiologists, the Ultrasound Technologist - Cardiac is responsible for care and safety of patients undergoing cardiac ultrasound procedures; use and knowledge of ultrasound equipment to perform professional quality cardiac ultrasound procedures including stress echoes and transesophageal ultrasound studies.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Conducting ultrasound tests to capture cardiac images for diagnostic purposes.
• Preparing patients for procedures and explaining the process to them.
• Ensuring all equipment is in working order and properly maintained.
• Collaborating with physicians and other medical professionals on treatment plans.
• Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records.
• Staying current on industry developments and best practices to continually improve patient care.
