You will interact with leaders from the Management, Maintenance, Service and Construction divisions to solve problems.
Job Summary : We are seeking an accomplished, hands-on Field-Oriented Leader to lead and support our field operations, service delivery, and operational systems. You will translate strategy into scalable processes, elevate customer and employee satisfaction, and maintain a high-performing operations team. The Director of Operations will balance management responsibilities and field-support duties traveling and / or visiting pools for training, quality assurance, and customer managing metrics.
The ideal candidate combines deep operational leadership in the Commercial Pool Industry and service based industries, strong P&L ownership, and a proven history of managing field teams, quality assurance, logistics, and safety. Commercial pool experience is desired to support our service and management departments. All candidates must have verifiable experience in both technical and management roles.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute the Company's operations strategy aligned with growth, profitability, and customer experience. Set benchmarks for service levels, safety, and quality; monitor performance against targets.
- P&L and Financial Management : Own and optimize budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and pricing discipline across all regions. As Director, you will help promote field driven sales goals.
- Field Operations Excellence : Analyze operational metrics (OTD, first-time fix rate, service level agreements, travel time) and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee fleet management, scheduling, technician deployment, procurement, vendor relationships, and inventory control. Standardize service delivery, safety programs, training, and quality assurance to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes nationwide. Implement scalable operating models for peak seasons and new market launches.
- People and Culture : Build and lead a high-performing operations organization. Champion a culture of safety, accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement. Recruit, onboard, coach, retain top talent and implement performance management.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree preferred, with relevant certifications in Facilities Management a plus. Extensive pool experience may be a reliable equivalent.10+ years of operations experience with 5+ years in leadership in a service-based, field-heavy industries (e.g., facilities management, HVAC / PI, pools).Strong leadership and team-building capabilities; demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain top talent.Exceptional communication, negotiation, project management, process improvement, and change management skills.Ability to travel 2540% as needed to support field operations and market launches.
