Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Job Title : Clinical Laboratory Scientist 3rd Shift

Location : San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675

Shift : WedSun, 10 : 00 PM 6 : 30 AM PST

Duration : 3 months (Possible extension or conversion)

Hours : 40 / week

Eligibility : U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, and Employment Authorization Document (EAD) holders are eligible to apply.

Job Description :

We are seeking a California-licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for 3rd shift. Recent graduates welcome. Active California CLS License. Candidates must be comfortable driving at night.

Responsibilities :

Perform moderate to highly complex clinical laboratory tests following standard procedures.

Prepare reagents, controls, and stock solutions; test new methods as needed.

Evaluate specimen acceptability and test results; report accurately.

Perform QC, instrument maintenance, calibration, and proficiency testing.

Supervise and train unlicensed staff as required.

Maintain safety, cleanliness, and adherence to all lab policies.

Participate in quality improvement and staff meetings.

Requirements :

BS in Medical Technology or Life / Physical Sciences

Active California CLS License

03 years laboratory experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and work night shifts
