What does a Registered Nurse Night Shift 7p-7a Alt weeks W, Th, F/ Th, F, Sat do?

As a Full-Time Registered Nurse at Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital, you will take on critical responsibilities that directly impact patient care and safety. You will assess new patients within 8 hours of admission, ensuring timely and individualized nursing care as ordered by the physician. Your role includes managing medication administration through daily monitoring and secure storage. You will actively participate in the interdisciplinary formulation of individual treatment plans, offering your insights during team discussions. Additionally, you will dictate and write progress notes for both one-on-one and group sessions, adhering strictly to established policies and procedures.

You will also assist in coordinating risk management activities to minimize the potential for patient, staff, or visitor injuries and losses. Completing and signing admission paperwork and all necessary documentation in compliance with legal and hospital guidelines will be an essential part of your duties.
