We are seeking candidates who have experience fabricating sheet metal products while leading and developing teams. This position will be working in a fast-paced environment, producing numerous orders of unique, complex, sheet metal parts and weldments. M&S Machining is looking for a candidate with strong technical experience producing tight tolerance, sheet metal formed components and offers an opportunity to train and further develop one's fabrication knowledge and career.

• What you’ll be doing :
• Fabricating geometrically complex sheet metal components using an array of equipment including but not limited to; CNC brake press, CNC fiber optic laser, shrinker / stretcher, roll former, CNC Router, etc.
• Setting up, programming, and running CNC machines such as fiber optic laser, brake press, router, etc.
• Leading, managing, and developing a team of both junior and highly skilled sheet metal fabricators.
• Manage and take ownership of the department’s production schedule while driving and fostering company growth.
• Solving technical problems to prevent production delays and maintain on-time delivery.
• Offering senior input on the estimating of new projects.
• Using and selecting required hand tools, machinery, measuring instruments, and abrasives in accordance with detailed work instructions and blueprints.
• Leading and offering input on tooling and capital equipment purchases.
• Independently perform complex inspections and drive the quality department in order to verify and produce first pieces in a timely manner to limit production downtime.
• Manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.
• Favorable if you have :
• Experience programming and setting up a CNC brake press and / or fiber optic laser on a wide variety of different parts and materials.
• Background in CAD, CAM, drafting, or engineering.
• Experience using various measuring equipment including but not limited to height stand, calipers, micrometers, surface plate, CMM, etc.
• Experience hand forming parts using molds, shrinker / stretcher equipment, and roll forming equipment.
