Travel Nurse RN - Orthopedics - $2,216 per week

About the position :

As a travel orthopedic nurse (Ortho RN), you will provide specialized care for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including fractures, joint replacements, and other orthopedic surgeries. You will help patients through their recovery with pain management, mobility assistance, and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities :

• Provide post-operative care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries such as hip, knee, and spinal procedures
• Administer medications, including pain management and antibiotics
• Assist with physical therapy and mobility to promote rehabilitation and prevent complications
• Monitor patients for signs of infection or complications and respond to changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and families on post-surgical care, mobility, and discharge instructions
