  • company seeks career oriented, stable, full time PRODUCTION TEAM LEAD TO JOIN OUR TEAM. Successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, pride of work, reliable attendance and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. While we realize there will be training needed on our specific processes, we are seeking someone who already has experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Compensation will be based on experience.

This position is Full Time. Our regular hours are Mon-Fri, 7 : 00-3 : 30 with occasional overtime. Job Location is 32254 near HWY Ave and Ellis Rd. Employees earn PTO from day 1, that can be used after 90 days of employment. Employees are eligible for health, dental and vision insurance after 60 days, and 401K matched contributions after 1 year.

Responsibilities may include some or all of the following :

  • Learning the existing processes for each position of the metal line, including inventory pull – saw cut – processing extrusions - QA
  • The ability to step in and fill in when needed if primary position employees are out for any reason
  • Managing the metal department team, to include job assignments, performance reviews, monitoring of attendance, and management of indirect inventory
  • The ability and foresight to see areas of improvement and optimization to reduce waste and increase output
  • The ability to effectively encourage the team to increased productivity with zero loss in quality

    • Required Skills :

  • Experience leading a team in a production environment
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is required
  • The ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly throughout the work day
  • The ability to stand, bend, crawl as required for day to day job functions
  • The mechanical ability to learn and understand the machinery and perform minor repairs / adjustments when required to keep the production line moving
