Summary of the Role :

As our Infra / DevOps Engineer, you will be the cornerstone of our infrastructure and operations, responsible for building and maintaining the foundation that supports our entire tech stack. This role offers the unique opportunity to design, implement, and scale the infrastructure from the ground up, ensuring our platform is reliable, secure, and efficient as we grow.

Your Contributions to Our Journey :

Architect and Code the Infrastructure : Design, implement, and write code for the core infrastructure that powers our platform, building scalable, secure, and highly available systems through infrastructure-as-code principles.

Develop Automation Systems : Write robust, production-grade code to build and maintain CI / CD pipelines, custom automation tools, and deployment scripts that ensure rapid and reliable delivery of new features.

Ensure Security and Compliance : Implement security best practices and compliance measures to protect our data and infrastructure from potential threats.

Monitor and Optimize : Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and operational issues.

Implement Scalability Solutions : Develop and implement code for auto-scaling, load balancing, and other programmatic solutions to scale our infrastructure in line with user growth.

Collaborate with Engineering : Work closely with software engineers to ensure that the infrastructure supports their needs and integrates seamlessly with the application stack.

Establish Coding Standards : Create and maintain coding standards for infrastructure code, participate in code reviews, and mentor team members on infrastructure development best practices.

What You Need to Be Successful :

Extensive Experience : 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a related role, with a proven track record of building and scaling cloud infrastructure.

Cloud Expertise : Deep knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with experience programmatically deploying and managing services at scale.

Automation Proficiency : Strong skills in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

Security Focus : Experience implementing security best practices, including managing firewalls, encryption, and identity and access management (IAM).

Monitoring and Logging : Proficient in setting up and managing monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.

Problem-Solving Skills : Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security in a startup environment.

Collaborative Spirit : Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with developers and other stakeholders.

Agility and Adaptability : Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with the ability to pivot as needed.
