Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Setting : Acute Care Facility – Labor & Delivery Unit

Start Date : November 3, 2025

End Date : February 2, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12 Hour Nights (19 : 00-07 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Hours : Every Other / As Needed

Call Requirements : As Needed

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1990-$2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting

Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee (TN RN license)

Required Certifications : ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS (must be current or obtained prior to start)

Ability to work independently and provide clinical support in labor and delivery

Willingness to float to Postpartum unit as needed

Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check before assignment begins

Professional, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills

Scrub Color : Any (except camo or logo shirts / sweatshirts other than Starr Regional)

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns in the Labor & Delivery unit

Monitor, assess, and support patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Document patient care accurately using MedHost and Centricity Perinatal EHR systems

Float to Postpartum unit and provide clinical support as required

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards

Exhibit professionalism and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare environment
