TITLE : Senior Mechanical Engineer, Fluidics & Disposables
POSITION SUMMARY :
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will fill a critical role on the Robotics Hardware Team. Joining a talented team of engineers, you will be responsible for fluidics, drapes and other disposables for our groundbreaking flexible endoscopy robotic platform. Design and development for these devices require a delicate balance of design ingenuity, functional performance, and cost tradeoff. You will work closely with other design engineers to architect and integrate the fluidics lines and drapes – determining material selection, define placement with workflow in-mind, specify dimensions and other attributes to ensure performant design that meets cost targets. You will be responsible for the full engineering lifecycle including requirements, prototyping, test, verification, ultimate productization including packaging, labeling, sterilization.You will work with contract manufacturing partners to scale production while maintaining product quality and meeting cost-of-goods targets.

Neptune Medical is located in Burlingame, CA, near the Millbrae Caltrain and BART station.
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this role is between $110,000 and $180,000 depending on experience. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as : education, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity, benefits, and 401(K) with matching.
