Job Details

  • General job duties.
  • Types of procedures required : RN L&D, post partum, nursery in small community hospital.
  • Equipment utilized in the unit / dept. : EMR, Bed Side Medication Verification, Electronic Fetal Monitoring, waterbirths.

    • Job Requirements

  • Min 2 years of experience in L&D.
  • Must be able to be Independent.
  • Specific licensures and certifications / registrations required : RN, BLS, NRP, OR License.

    • Schedule Information

  • Our minimal staffing is 2 RN’s at all times, even when low census.
  • NO call required.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • 8 beds; 6 LDRPs, Level 1 Nursery.
  • Nurse to patient ratio : 3 : 1 Couplets; 2 : 1 early labor; 1 : 1 active labor.

    • Additional Details

  • Must be willing to work alone.
  • Post Partum and Nursery experience.
  • Must be willing to float.
