Director of Transplant Services

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Director of Transplant Services to lead and optimize program operations at Parkland Health , one of the nations largest public hospital systems. This permanent leadership position offers a chance to shape the future of transplant and dialysis services while contributing to Parklands legacy of Care, Compassion, and Community.

Position : Director of Transplant Services

Location : Dallas, TX (Parkland Health Operations Administration)

Employment Type : Permanent | Full-Time

Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM (Days)

Compensation : $61.06 $103.85 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview :

The Director of Transplant Services will collaborate with the Program Medical Director and Parkland Health leadership to ensure the seamless integration of strategic and operational goals across transplant and peritoneal dialysis services. The role involves overseeing clinical operations, accreditation, quality initiatives, and program development to enhance patient-centered outcomes and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage all aspects of transplant and dialysis program operations.
  • Collaborate with medical and nursing leadership to align service line goals and clinical best practices.
  • Develop innovative care delivery models to improve quality outcomes and coordination of care.
  • Oversee accreditation, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage staff performance, operational budgets, and grant programs.
  • Build partnerships and community engagement initiatives to expand program reach.
  • Represent Parkland Health in professional organizations and national conferences.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Masters degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field (required).
  • Experience : Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience in Transplant Services and Peritoneal Dialysis operations (required).
  • Proven success in operational management, quality improvement, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data management, accreditation maintenance, and fiscal oversight.
