Job description

We are seeking a licensed Dentist specializing in Dentistry for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Montana. This role commences on Nov 3, 2025, offering a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM. The ideal candidate will manage a broad range of dental care services and duties, ensuring high-quality care for patients of all ages. Proficiency with the Dentrix EMR system is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and develop detailed treatment plans.
  • Perform routine and complex dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals.
  • Manage the overall oral health care needs of patients from pediatric to geriatric.
  • Utilize Dentrix for documentation and management of patient records.
  • Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in the treatment area.

  • Must hold a valid Montana dental license.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience in tribal health settings.
