Warehouse Associate Position Overview :
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with at least a year of warehouse experience to join our team as full-time employees. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for accurately picking, checking, packing, sending, and receiving merchandise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Verify assignment with the manager or department lead each morningHandle all products to avoid injury to self and / or damage to the productOther tasks as assignedShipping
Pull all assigned parts accurately and efficiently, within the time specified.Read all pick-pack messages for special instructions.Order verify the order, inspecting product for damage as neededPack orders tightly and safely using best practicesUpdate, reprint, and dispatch route manifestsEnsure drivers depart on time and provide ETAs as requestedProcess common carrier shipments according to pick / pack instructionsEnsure all packages are picked up by the carriersReceiving
Check in stock transfers by specified in-stock date, and receiveCheck in domestic and foreign vendor shipments, labeling parts and completing discrepancy paperwork as neededComplete receiving log, scan in check paperwork to Inventory ControlPut Away
Stock assigned put away carts and pallets accurately and efficiently, including in secondary locationsResearch any discrepanciesBuild put-away carts as neededAdvise bin maintenance of any parts that do not fit into assigned locationsBin Maintenance
Assign new items to bin locations using product and bin profilingComplete warehouse maintenance, stock checks, and clean-up reportsResearch missing merchandise using audit trail, put away data, and physical searchesReturns
Process customer returns, including customer cancels and refused shipmentsProcess vendor returns, including cores, warranties, and defectivesUnderstand the automatic core RA process and applying cores to COD ordersWarehouse Associate Requirements :
Willing to work overtime or hours other than those normally scheduled, including some SaturdaysAdhere to SSF Employee Handbook, guidelines, policies, and proceduresMaintain a professional attitude at all timesDemonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team-based environmentUnderstand and adhere to all safety guidelinesMust be eligible to work in the United StatesPreferred Experience :
1 year of Warehouse experience1 Year of RF Scanner experienceIn addition to the above, a Warehouse Associate will also be expected to :
