• Work three 12-hour shifts per week with two shift options available : 9 : 00 AM to 9 : 30 PM or 10 : 00 AM to 10 : 30 PM
• Call shifts approximately 5 times per 4-week schedule including 1-2 Saturdays per month
• 13-week assignment length
• Patient ratio of 2 : 1 in PACU setting
• Permanent Alaska RN license required for submission
• PACU experience mandatory - candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Required certifications : ACLS, PALS, BLS, and RN license
• Work with telemetry monitoring, post cardiac equipment, cath devices, and orthopedic devices
• EMR system : EPIC
• Provide recovery care for deep sedation patients and management of post-procedural devices
• No floating to other units required
• Dress code : Caribbean blue scrubs

The unit maintains a 2 : 1 patient ratio with specialized equipment including telemetry monitoring, post-cardiac devices, catheterization equipment, and orthopedic devices. The facility uses EPIC EMR system and focuses on recovery care for patients requiring deep sedation management and post-procedural device monitoring. The unit is staffed with charge nurses, staff RNs, and PCAs during day shifts, with on-call coverage during night hours.
