Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Doctor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise across various specialties, including internal medicine, pediatrics, cardiology, neurology, and emergency medicine. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care through diagnosis, treatment, and management of a diverse patient population in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The Medical Doctor will utilize advanced medical knowledge and technology, including Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and medical imaging tools, to deliver high-quality healthcare services. Experience with telehealth platforms and participation in clinical research are also valued. - Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments through physical examinations and medical history reviews
- Diagnose illnesses and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing clinical expertise and diagnostic tools such as CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound imaging
- Prescribe medications, including IV infusions and other therapies, ensuring proper administration and monitoring
- Perform or supervise procedures such as suturing, catheterization, wound care, ie.
- Coordinate care with specialists across disciplines such as cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, and maternal-fetal medicine
- Utilize EMR / EHR systems like Epic for accurate documentation of patient records and CPT coding for billing purposes
- Participate in clinical research trials to advance medical knowledge and improve treatment protocols
- Provide patient education on health coaching, disease prevention, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to maintain patient confidentiality and safety
- Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine in the respective state
- Board certification or eligibility in relevant specialties such as internal medicine, pediatrics or family medicine
- Proven experience with inpatient and outpatient care settings; experience in hospital environments or trauma centers is preferred
- Proficiency with EMR / EHR systems including Epic or similar platforms; familiarity with medical imaging interpretation is advantageous
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, pathology, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and patient families
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred for emergency roles
- Experience working within hospital settings—such as ICU or post-operative care—is desirable but not required
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while delivering compassionate patient-centered care
