Controller

We’re partnering with a fast-growing CPG company. They’re seeking an experienced Controller who combines strong accounting leadership with hands-on FP&A expertise. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, scaling environment and enjoys working closely with executive leadership on both tactical and strategic finance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee month-end close, consolidations, and financial reporting across multiple entities.

Manage and mentor an established accounting team, including an Assistant Controller and staff for AR, AP, and Treasury.

Lead the annual budget, forecasting, and cash flow modeling process.

Prepare and present Board-level financial reports and analyses.

Perform financial modeling and proformas for new ventures and product launches.

Leverage Acumatica ERP, Velixo, and Tableau to streamline reporting and analytics.

Ensure compliance with regulatory accounting standards, including IRC 280E and multi-entity structures

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred.

10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a Controller or senior finance leadership role.

Proven ability to lead accounting operations and FP&A in a complex, multi-entity environment.

Strong technical skills — ERP reporting (Acumatica preferred), Excel modeling, and data visualization (Tableau a plus).

Excellent communication and leadership skills; capable of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

Experience in CPG or manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
