Interventional Radiologic Technologist

A well-known hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their Radiology team.

Details:

• On Site, Hybrid, Remote: On-site
• Shift: 8am-4pm
• Schedule: Full time
• Setting: Acute Care

Responsibilities included but not limited to are:

• Assists interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body.
• Responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast dyes, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Qualifications & Experience

• A valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH (can be obtained after the offer)
• Eligible Advanced Certifications from ARRT include the following: (only one (1) certification below is required)
• ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology
• ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology
• ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology
• Associates degree from a Radiologic Technology program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Minimum one (1) year of experience using angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty and stenting.
