Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit : Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 07 / 28 / 2025 – End : 10 / 27 / 2025)

Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1360–$1460 per week

On-Site Position

PACU RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent PACU nursing experience required

BLS certification (AHA) required

ACLS certification preferred

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

PACU RN Responsibilities Monitor and care for patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures

Assess patient status and deliver appropriate nursing interventions

Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians

Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to optimize patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes

Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and clinical progress
