Job description

Job Role : Senior Patient Registrar

Location : Flushing, NY 11355

Shift : Day Shift

Pay Rate : $25 / hr. - $28 / hr.

Duration : 3 Months with a strong possibility of ongoing extensions

Required :

  • 3+ years clerical exp in medical office setting, EMR, managed care insurances
  • Bilingual : Chinese speaking - Required

Skills :

  • Knowledge of health insurance benefits / requirements, Coding : ICD 9, CPT-4 (P)
  • Communication skills

    • Duties :

  • Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups.
  • Verify insurance coverage and benefits before appointments.
  • Register new and returning patients, collecting accurate personal, medical, and insurance information.
