Intake Specialist

A company is looking for a Specialty Services Intake Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Processes orders from referral sources and assesses patient needs upon arrival

Verifies patient's benefits and eligibility for requested services, and obtains necessary information for prior authorizations

Communicates with patients, families, and referral sources regarding insurance coverage and financial responsibilities

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

2+ years of experience in infusion therapy or related healthcare services

Experience working with healthcare insurance and customer service

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
