- Develop, manage, and maintain project requirements, ensuring traceability from stakeholder needs through design, implementation, and operations
- Participate in and facilitate design reviews, ensuring compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards
- Support project closeout activities, including verification and validation, final documentation, as-built records, and lessons learned
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, CM analysts, and stakeholders to ensure systems integration
- Contribute to the creation, revision, and maintenance of SE governance documents, including the SEMP, SEP, and SE Handbook
- Standardize processes for requirements management, design review, risk management, and V&V across the enterprise
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure governance aligns with organizational goals and industry best practices
- Support training and rollout of SE processes to other engineers and project teams
- Work cross-functionally with project managers, engineering disciplines, operations, and executive leadership
- Participate in enterprise SE working groups and process improvement initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education / Training :
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture Engineering, or related technical field preferredExperience :
3+ years of professional experience in system engineering or closely related engineering rolesDemonstrated experience with SE lifecycle processes, including requirements development, design reviews, verification & validation, and project closeoutsStrong understanding of SE standards such as INCOSE SE Handbook or ISO / IEC / IEEE 15288Preferred Experience :
Experience developing or maintaining governance documents such as SEMP, SEP, or SE HandbookFamiliarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and practicesExperience coordinating with diverse technical and operational stakeholdersExperience with metrics-driven process improvementSecurity :
Must be a US citizenCandidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret ClearancePhysical Requirements :
