A well-established and growing manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Assistant Production Manager to join their leadership team at their Wheeling, IL facility. This is a newly created role designed to support plant operations and drive production performance. You’ll report directly to the Production Manager and play a key role in coordinating schedules, improving processes, and supporting a dynamic production team.

If you’re a bilingual (Spanish / English) leader with strong manufacturing experience, a passion for driving operational efficiency, and enjoy working cross-functionally to solve problems, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

What You’ll Do :

• Oversee and manage daily production schedules, ensuring alignment with operational goals
• Monitor and improve productivity and efficiency metrics
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a smooth and continuous production flow
• Identify and resolve production challenges in real-time
• Support a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
