Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Title : RN - Med / Surg Telemetry - Staff Location : Washington Court House, OH 43160 Shift : Day Shift (7 : a0 pm - 7 : 00 pm); 36 hours per week, every other weekend Travel Pay Rate : $2250 weekly ($27.90 / hr on w2 $1246 / week stipend) Local Pay Rate : $57 per hour on W2 Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Job Type : 13-week Contract Position Summary : Minimum 3 years of experience is required The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient's plan of care; while creating an atmosphere that supports our mission to care, to heal, to educate. The Staff Nurse, RN as the primary care giver provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other care team members, the physician and the patient / family to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The incumbent has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing. In this position responsibilities will consist of managing and conducting the care of 5-6 med / surg telemetry patients, Position : Staff Nurse, PCU unit Experience Preferred : Pneumonia, Chest pain, trach care and deconditioning Key Responsibilities : Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and telemetry readings to detect any changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to established protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Perform patient assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations. Provide education to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and wound care. Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for patients. Uphold infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for patients.
