Associate Researcher, Cell Therapy (Westborough)

Position Title : Research Associate - Cell Therapy Analytical Testing

Assignment Duration : 3+ Months

Position Summary :

Seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to support the analytical testing of cell therapy products to support development activities.

The role requires hands-on laboratory work, including mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, and PCR-based testing as well as data analysis.

The Research Associate will work as part of a team under the guidance of Senior Project / Team Leads.

Key Responsibilities :

Performing aseptic cell culture, flow cytometry, and molecular assays

Testing development samples on a routine basis to support process / formulation activities

Documenting work and analyzing experimental results

Reporting results out to project lead accurately and on time

Support general lab maintenance including restocking and ordering supplies and equipment maintenance.

Qualification & Experience :

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

1 year of hands-on experience with adherent mammalian cell culture

1 year of hands-on experience with flow cytometry

Be able to follow established techniques / SOPs in aseptic cell culture, cell and molecular biology to generate and analyze data in an accurate and reproducible manner.

Capable of maintaining accurate records in electronic laboratory notebooks or paper forms / SOPs, appropriate databases, and inventories in a timely manner.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :

Cellular therapy laboratory experience

Experience in mRNA / DNA extraction and qRT-PCR / ddPCR

Experience with ELISA

Experience with pluripotent stem cells

Experience with Good Documentation Practices
