We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator for a Contract to permanent position in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have experience managing IT infrastructure, executing server migrations, and working with Microsoft technologies. Responsibilities :

  • Plan and execute server migration projects, including designing solutions and communicating effectively with clients.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory environments, ensuring stability and security.
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues related to Microsoft technologies, including Office 365 and Azure.
  • Oversee server replacements and configurations, minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Implement and support Office 365 migrations for seamless transitions.
  • Conduct basic network troubleshooting to address connectivity and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand needs and deliver tailored IT solutions.
  • Ensure system reliability and optimize performance across platforms.
  • Document processes and maintain records of system changes and upgrades.

Requirements :

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing server migrations.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and related components.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including migrations and administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies.
  • Basic understanding of network troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and own projects.
  • Excellent communication skills for client collaboration.
