Speech Language Pathologist (O'Fallon)

The Caring Group is looking to hire a Full time CCC-SLP employee who has a minimum of one year of pediatric experience and is ready to join our growing team. The right candidate loves children and working directly with families to provide an exceptional therapy experience, is a team player who enjoys a family-like atmosphere, who will collaborate and research to meet the needs of the clients and is motivated to make a difference in the lives of everyone in our practice. We are looking for long-term relationships with our staff.

At this time, you should be comfortable with technology and be ready to adapt and learn a variety of service delivery methods. Our office provides in-person therapy sessions, with some telehealth sessions as needed.

We have been in business since 2000. In addition to speech therapy The Caring Group offers occupational therapy. Applicants should be creative and share a passion to expand our programs.

Requirements and Responsibilities :

ASHA CCC or CF (a strong CF will be considered); Illinois License (ability to obtain by start date); valid Driver's License; Pediatric experience required; Feeding experience preferred but not required

• Evaluate and utilize appropriate standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of a variety of communication disorders
• Develop new and modify existing individualized care plans
• Coordinate care plans and patient progress with school personnel, if applicable
• Ability to work well in both 1 : 1 and collaborative scenarios
• Perform daily documentation, update care plans as needed, and summaries upon request
• Regularly provide patient progress, updates and communication to families
• Comfortable with occasional student externship and observers from local universities
• Maintain ASHA CCC through professional development
