Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a SSSU / PACU role requiring WA or compact RN license and at least 2 years of perioperative nursing experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in SSSU (Same Day Surgery) and PACU settings within a hospital environment
  • Float to Outpatient Services areas including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Pre-operative Clinic, and assist with hospital conscious sedation procedures
  • Primary duties may also include pre / post-surgical and infusion care
  • Schedule is 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
  • Responsibilities include nursing assessment, perioperative patient education and care, and recognizing post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
  • Candidates should be prepared to float across multiple outpatient surgical and procedural units as needed

  • Active WA or compact RN license must be held and currently active
  • Minimum of 2 years' nursing experience in perioperative or PACU settings required
  • Current certifications in BLS / BCLS, ACLS, and PALS are required
