Marketing Analyst & Automation Specialist

The Opportunity

The Memphis Grizzlies are seeking a technically skilled and analytically driven Customer Marketing Analyst & Automation Specialist to join the Memphis Grizzlies Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you'll play a key role as the email marketing technical expert, owning the audience building and data segmentation within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) while driving revenue through smarter segmentation, personalized marketing, and data-informed decision-making. Your work will directly impact marketing efforts geared towards ticket sales, show rates, and broadcast viewership while also supporting partnership sales by helping to better understand our customers and optimize their journeys across email, SMS, push, paid media, advertising, and in-app experiences.

In This Role You Will

Email Marketing

• Lead the technical execution of email marketing initiatives, including audience segmentation, personalized content delivery, and campaign logic, with the ability to adapt across various marketing platforms
• Build and maintain dynamic audience segments using data querying and marketing automation tools.
• Develop and QA backend logic for email campaigns, ensuring accurate targeting and personalization.
• Support email development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as needed.
• Monitor deliverability, engagement, and performance metrics, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
