Overview : Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Part-time Shipping, you will help facilitate the movement of product throughout our distribution center. You will be responsible for organizing all outgoing orders, loading product into trucks by hand, pallet jack, or by forklift. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located at 2001 Theurer Blvd, Winona, MN 55987. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Responsibilities : The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :

• Operating computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product
• Inspecting product for damage and documenting discrepancies
• Sorting product into correct locations
• Stacking product efficiently
• Consolidating, loading and unloading shipments
• Utilizing load truck reports to locate product for outgoing shipments
• Ensuring proper load securement for transport
• Verifying product is correctly labeled for easy identification and delivery
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings
