Travel Nurse RN - Home Health - $2,235 per week in Richmond, VA

Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Home Health Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift : 12 hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 00; 11 : 00 - 23 : 00) Experience : 3 years of critical care, acute care, or medical surgical RN experience required License : BSN required, Virginia or compact license required Certifications : BLS Must-Have : - Experience managing acute care or medical surgical adult and / or geriatric patient populations - Telephone triage experience preferred - Home health experience preferred Description : The Home Hospital RN provides direct patient care to inpatients at the acute level within the comfort of the patient's home environment. Each patient has an individualized plan of care that determines the tasks and duties for home visits. The Home Hospital RN is responsible for providing essential elements of inpatient care in the patient’s living space using leveraged technology and remote clinical care coordination. This RN provides quality care through the implementation of the nursing process applied through a team nursing model. They will access and document the care of patients and work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to deliver therapeutic interventions while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Candidates will float within scope if needed. EPIC charting experience is required. BSN is preferred.
