About the Role : We’re looking for a Commercial Underwriter to join our New Orleans lending team. This role is all about supporting our local businesses - helping lenders evaluate loan requests, analyze financials, and make sound, relationship-driven credit decisions that strengthen our community.

What You’ll Do :

• Work closely with our commercial lenders to underwrite new and existing loan relationships.
• Review financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow to assess credit quality.
• Prepare clear, well-organized credit presentations for loan committee review.
• Assist in structuring loans that meet both customer needs and the bank’s policies.
• Help monitor existing loan relationships and annual reviews.
• Stay familiar with local market trends and keep our lending decisions community-focused.
