Job Description

Financial Services Division (FSD) Engineering team is looking for a Senior Staff Engineer that can excel in a non-traditional, agile environment leading the way in the Cloud and Big Data analytics ecosystem. Data is the currency in today's world, and in this role, you will be at the forefront of a digital transformation. We are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer to provide strategic technical leadership for our real-time API platform, which powers mission-critical, high-throughput services across our ecosystem. This platform underpins the availability, performance, and scalability of core customer and partner-facing experiences.

As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will report to the Software Development Director and operate as a hands-on technical leader, influencing architecture and implementation across multiple teams. You'll guide important decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure the platform meets demanding Service Level Agreements for latency, reliability, and throughput.

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Architect and evolve our real-time API platform for scalability, low-latency, and high availability (4–5 9s uptime).
• Lead design and implementation of platform-wide projects, such as event-driven architecture, observability, service mesh integration, and rate-limiting strategies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
