Job Title : Psych LVN at Mission Community Hospital
Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psych LVN to join our team at Mission Community Hospital in Panorama City, California. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. As a Psych LVN, your primary responsibility will be to provide nursing care to patients with mental health conditions under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.

Responsibilities :
Conduct intake screenings and assessments to identify patient needsAdminister medication and monitor patient responseCreate and maintain patient records, including treatment plans and progress notesCollaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plansProvide education and support to patients and their familiesImplement and follow all hospital policies and proceduresUse therapeutic communication techniques to effectively interact with patientsAssist with crisis intervention and de-escalation of potentially violent situationsMaintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patientsRequirements :
Current and valid LVN license in the state of CaliforniaMinimum of 2 years of experience as an LVN in a psychiatric settingBLS certificationStrong knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalitiesAbility to effectively communicate and interact with patients of diverse backgroundsExcellent organizational and multitasking skillsKnowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysEEOC Statement :
