Job Description
Provides direct patient care across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for certain specialty areas. Utilizes a variety of occupational therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and relief from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.
Additionally, provides specialized evaluation and treatment for patients with lymphedema, focusing on reducing swelling, improving mobility, and enhancing daily function. Delivers comprehensive care including manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, therapeutic exercise, skin care education, and personalized home programs. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes, monitors progress, and educates patients and families on long-term self-management strategies. Ensures accurate documentation and maintains best practices in accordance with clinical guidelines.
Work Schedule : 24 hours weekly; .6 FTE, M-F 7-5 : 30pm
