About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer II to support the creation and revision of technical documentation for advanced defense systems. This role involves working closely with engineering teams to translate complex technical data into clear, user-friendly content that supports product operation, maintenance, and repair.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and update technical documentation including product descriptions, operating procedures, fault isolation, maintenance instructions, and illustrated parts breakdowns (IPBs).
• Ensure all documentation complies with company, customer, and government standards.
• Analyze engineering drawings and technical data to produce accurate and comprehensive manuals.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather information and validate content.
• Evaluate and request illustrations and graphics to enhance documentation clarity.
• Assist in validating written procedures and providing input on documentation format and style.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
• Support project planning by contributing to time and cost estimates.
