What Youll Do
- Facilitate one-on-one and group interventions that promote self-worth, personal safety, boundary setting, and growth
- Support clients in developing recovery plans, Psychiatric Advance Directives (PADs), and Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAPs)
- Enhance clients coping, communication, and self-management skills
- Assist clients in system navigation, including advocacy, appointments, and benefit access
- Provide crisis and post-crisis support
- Assist with skill development in daily living, socialization, and symptom management
- Educate clients on available community resources and support re-entry following hospitalization
- Help clients manage appointments with mental health professionals
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in person-centered planning
- Respond as a first responder for crises on a 24 / 7 / 365 basis
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency and Medicaid standards

This role involves travel within the community and requires a flexible schedule based on client needs. Peer Support staff may work individually or with small groups (not exceeding 1 : 9 ratio), under a supervision ratio of 1 : 6 (QP to Peer Support FTEs). Services are billed in 15-minute increments.
