Job description

RemX Staffing is hiring a Temporary Manufacturing Planner to support one of our leading clients in Buffalo.

Location : Buffalo, NY

Type : temporary 3-4 months

Hours : day shift

In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining the production schedule, managing customer orders, and ensuring materials and timelines align to meet delivery expectations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, ERP experience, and a knack for problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate customer demand to plan, create, and maintain production schedules that meet delivery requirements.
  • Partner with purchasing and sales teams to communicate and resolve changes in demand, materials, or priorities.
  • Adapt to shifting customer needs and collaborate with manufacturing to set realistic ship dates for new or urgent orders.
  • Track and report on-site performance related to on-time delivery, expedited freight, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Provide support for production and scheduling inquiries using ERP and MRP systems.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience in order management, planning, or scheduling within a manufacturing ERP / MRP / EDI environment.
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Exce l and familiarity with the full MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives under pressure.
  • Team player who can also work independently when needed.
