Job descriptionMinimum of an AS, preferably in a technical discipline Practical experience with additive manufacturing (FDM / SLA) required Strong CAD skills and familiarity with slicing software Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and organizational skills Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment U.S. Citizenship required (due to U.S. Government ITAR regulations)
Position Summary
We are seeking an Additive Manufacturing Specialist to join our engineering team. In this role, you will manage and operate our in-house 3D printing capabilities, supporting both R&D and production needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and eager to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a fleet of FDM and SLA 3D printers
- Perform post-processing tasks (support removal, sanding, finishing, curing)
- Conduct CAD slicing, file preparation, and printer scheduling
- Maintain and track material inventory (resins, filaments, consumables)
- Troubleshoot and resolve common printer and equipment issues
- Document builds, part quality, and turnaround times for continuous improvement
