Job description

We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Torrance, CA. This is a great chance to provide coverage for a medical leave while enjoying a flexible work schedule.

Key Details :

Start Date : ASAP
End Date : April 1, 2025
Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM
Practice Setting : Outpatient only; no inpatient responsibilities
EMR System : Epic
Support Staff : Collaborative team including RNs, MAs, and PAs / NPs

Practice Highlights :

Patients Per Shift : Average of 23

No Call or Rounding Required : Focus solely on outpatient care

Certifications Required :

BLS

Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Skills Needed :

Routine and high-risk pregnancy management

OB ultrasounds (Level I / II)

C-sections and VBACs

Office gynecology procedures (e.g., IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy)

Surgical gynecology including laparoscopic procedures

Endometrial biopsies, hysteroscopy, and polyp removals
