Job description

Phillips & Cohen Associates, Ltd., the global leader in deceased account management with operations in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, and Germany seeks a Technical Support Agent for its Wilmington, DE office. Operating in a hi-tech, cutting-edge industry, and the incumbent will be exposed to new and emerging technologies. This position is designed for an individual wanting to learn the basics of IT support in a call center environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide user level technical support for end users, computers, printers, etc.
  • Provide user level training on daily applications used, including, but not limited to : MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, and other basic computer related skills.
  • Monitor printers, copiers, and fax machines to make sure they are working properly and getting regular maintenance.
  • Deploy images to laptop and desktop computers
  • Assist with implementation of new servers, technology, etc.
  • Provide high degree of professionalism, end user satisfaction, and work well with others.
  • Assist with technical documentation of systems and processes.
  • Assist with creation and documentation of IT systems and networks.
  • Assist with the creation and documentation of technical knowledge base for common issues experienced by end users.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience with computer troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience with MS Office products.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory
  • Basic knowledge of current technologies available in the IT world.
  • Good troubleshooting skills, using logic and common sense.
  • Assist with multiple projects, priorities, and locations simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work with a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to be courteous and helpful under pressure with interruptions.
  • Must show aptitude and desire to learn new skills on the job.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and precisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Physical ability to perform essential job functions.
  • Experience with Citrix a plus
