GI / Endo Tech

Required :

• 1 year recent Endo / GI exp required
• State Licensure Required
• AHA BLS, SGNA- Required
• Experience with colonoscope, bronchoscope,
• Endoscopy experience, therapeutic experience preferred, Assists endoscopists with procedures including advanced therapeutic procedures, Oversees set up, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced endoscopic equipment, Aids in the collection and preparation of specimens
• Rotating days between Main Building and Honickman Building Endo units, they are directly across the street from each other.

Shift : Day 0700-1730

Orientation :

Week 1 - Mondays - System Orientation + online modules - usually 8 hours

Week 1 - Fridays - Epic training+ ½ day department admin tasks - usually 8 hours

Week 2 - schedule 2 shadow shifts at clinicians availability (10 or 12 hour shifts depending on schedule that day)
