Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level IV Neonatal ICU night shift position in California, requiring a CA RN license and recent Level IV NICU experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30
  • Care for critically ill neonates including those requiring oscillators, ventilators, pressors, cardiac care, and CVCs such as Broviac, IJ, and Femoral lines
  • Involvement with surgical wound care and complex medical interventions
  • Responsibilities include providing specialized care to neonates with critical illnesses
  • Must complete required onboarding modules and documentation prior to start date
  • Pre-employment modules will be completed online and vary by specialty
  • Locals are allowed at the same rate for RNs
  • References from two recent supervisors within the last year are required

  • Active California RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Level IV NICU experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Certifications required : Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), RN
  • At least one completed previous travel assignment required
  • Navy scrubs required
