Our client is currently seeking a qualified Lansweeper Support Specialist to join their team remotely and provide end-user support. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliable performance, maintenance, and continuous optimization of the Lansweeper platform, allowing design and deployment teams to focus on strategic design initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Execute and manage software updates (cloud and hubs / sensors instances)
Monitor system health and performance
Develop and maintain critical dashboards
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Support automation, integration, and data quality initiatives to enhance system efficiency and accuracy, while improving visibility into obsolete assets, system vulnerabilities, and lifecycle status
Collaborate closely with the design and implementation teams to identify and deliver new capabilities that expand the functionality and adoption of Lansweeper, driving greater maturity and effectiveness in OT asset management practices across company sites
Manage Lansweeper configuration, updates, and reporting
Ensure accurate asset discovery and system health
Providing reporting and training as needed
Establish key reporting and continuous improvement metrics
Establish a CoP (Community of practice) for all key stakeholders
Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Python) for automation and system integrations in general
Consolidate installation details for every site (Sensors, Hubs, passwords, documents, settings etc.)
Act as liaison between deployment team, business users, and vendors for support and feature requests
Establish critical partnerships with design teams and vendors to ensure all support issues are properly channeled and addressed
Coordinate firewall / network requests and ensure Lansweeper aligns with OT cybersecurity standards when issues related to live installations arise
Identify gaps, collect feedback, and propose enhancements to improve system usability
Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
Minimum 4+ years of OT experience with strong automation skills
Hands-on experience with Lansweeper (or similar asset management tools)
Knowledge of cloud-based IT enterprise environments (REST APIs, AWS, GCP or Azure)
Familiarity with OT cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks
Team player with the ability to support and work remotely
Successfully work with teams and work on their own
Lansweeper administration and reporting knowledge
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP / IP, VLANs, firewalls)
Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation and integrations
Understanding of IT / OT integration and secure architectures
Strong communication and coordination skills
Wage Range :
The rate for this position is between $33.75 - $49.50 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography / market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
