Live Ops Manager (Selinsgrove)

We are searching for a full time direct hire Live Operations Manager in Selinsgrove, PA

You will

• Develop and implement the Live Production budget (including capital expenditures) including the chicken and turkey grow-outs, feed mill, hatchery, and breeders.
• Oversee breeder, hatchery, broiler, feed mill, live haul, all live operations.
• Oversee egg flow, bird weights and performance to optimize production metrics and live costs.
• Build and maintain relationships with and oversee chicken and turkey growers.
• Lead and oversee chicken growers, turkey growers, broiler growers, feed mill, and hatchery.
• Monitor facilities and maintenance policy, procedure, and practice to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement succession planning programs for assigned departments.
• Develop new business in the areas of live sales, feed sales, egg sales, and chicken sales.
• Manage Live Operations department staff including coaching, performance management and appraisal, setting compensation levels, and problem resolution.
