Certified Nursing Assistant - Intermediate Critical Care
Location : Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC
Department : Intermediate Critical Care Unit
Schedule : Full-Time, Dayshift (7am - 7pm)
Our Intermediate Critical Care Unit is a 20 bed unit that specializes in stepdown care. We serve a population that includes but in not limited to sepsis, diabetes, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with non-invasive respiratory support, stable tracheostomy tubes not requiring mechanical ventilation. Our preferred patient ratio is 3 : 1, sometimes flex to 4 : 1.

Responsibilities
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, will provide and document assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or GED, required.
Experience : One year preferred.
One year Assisted Living facilities only : experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
Licensure / Certification :
Completion of NAI program, required.
Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
Medication Safety - AME, required.
NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
Additional Skills (preferred) : Basic computer skills for documentation.
