Pay Rate : Starting at $27.00 / hour (Equivalent Salary Range : $57,000 - $90,000 DOE)

About the Role :
We are seeking a Grain Operations Supervisor to lead daily operations at our client's grain production facility in Fairmont, NE. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing operations, safety, staff development, inventory control and facility performance. Youll play a key part in creating a culture of safety and excellence while supporting a team-driven environment. This is a temp-to-hire position with long-term potential for the right candidate.
Work Schedule :
- Monday - Friday | Between 3 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM (varied hours based on operational needs)
- Weekend work and extended hours required during peak times
- Must be available for two daily shift-change meetings at 6 : 45 AM and 9 : 45 AM
- As a salaried position, hours are flexible depending on workload - some days may be 6 hours, others may be 14+
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee day-to-day grain facility operations including staffing, maintenance and safetyLead, train, develop and evaluate a team of grain operatorsEnsure operational efficiency and equipment upkeep through timely maintenance and housekeepingManage grain flows, blending, drying and aeration to meet quality and safety standardsMonitor and document inventory changes, grain shrink and blending strategiesTrack performance against operating expense and capital budgetsPromote a culture of safety through committee leadership, training and root cause investigationsEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and documentation (for food-grade grain production)Coordinate tasks and priorities across shifts, departments and leadership teamsWhat Were Looking For :
