Mason Counseling Group is a dedicated healthcare organization committed to providing comprehensive care for individuals seeking recovery from substance abuse. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Program Manager to join our Portsmouth and/or Norfolk team. In this leadership role, you will oversee the mental health and substance abuse treatment program, ensuring effective delivery of services, supervising staff, and maintaining high-quality care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of QMHPs, providing guidance and support to ensure consistent and effective treatment delivery.
  • Ensure all client paperwork, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other documentation, is completed thoroughly and on time.
  • Conduct biopsychosocial and comprehensive assessments to assess the needs of clients and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Complete and submit authorization requests to insurance providers in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all program activities are in compliance with state regulations and industry best practices.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to staff to enhance program delivery and maintain a high standard of care.
  • Track and report on client progress and outcomes to ensure the effectiveness of treatment interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and address any concerns or issues that arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensed type or Qualified Mental Health Professional with a minimum of 3 years’ experience required.
  • Experience conducting biopsychosocial, comprehensive assessments and the ability to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • In-depth understanding of insurance authorizations and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions and managing diverse client needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of professionals.
  • Knowledge of substance abuse disorders, treatment modalities, and recovery principles.
  • Skilled in conducting assessments and creating treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of insurance processes and ability to complete authorizations effectively.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries while establishing a supportive and caring environment for clients.
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis intervention skills.
